CONcoctionCONcoction: A Spiritual BrUU of Myth and Mischief is the fall CMWD Young Adult Event and will be held at Unitarian Universalist Church of Urbana, IL October 24-26 2008. We welcome all Young Adults (ages 18-35) from around the district and country! We gathered together in Urbana, to celebrate our faith, learn together and share some old fashion Halloween fun!

For many young adults, in transition or without a home congregation district conferences are the only time that they have the opportunity to connect with their faith community and peers.

Please print and distribute our flyer In your congregation!

A variety of workshops are in the works; Exploring the historical and spiritual origins of Halloween, Juggling and a viewing and discussion of this year’s GA Ware lecture by Van Jones. We also hope to spend some time outside in glorious Allerton Park and at the Tagore Festival at Channing-Murray, our celebrated Central Midwest Campus Ministry. Games, Mischief, dancing and a twisted coffeehouse will make the weekend complete. The Cost is between $30-70 dollars, pay what you can, meals included!
