Call for Meeting

DA2013 logo 1400pxThe 2013 District Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Central Midwest District of the Unitarian Universalist Association will be held the weekend of April 26 to 28, 2013 at the Milwaukee Marriott West, W231 N1600 Corporte Court, Waukesha WI 53186.

The annual Business Meeting will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 with reports and awards during lunch and business beginning at 1:30 p.m.

If we have your current email on file, you should have received an email notification with links to all of the materials in the packet on Thursday afternoon, March 28, 2013.  If for some reason your email is not in our lists, you may access a PDF of the entire Delegate Packet consisting of the Agenda and Motion, the 2012 Annual Meeting Minutes, the 2013 Annual Reports with 2014 Budget, and several Reference documents.  Alternatively, contact Peggy Boccard, District Administrator ... and we will get the email with the links to you.  Presideing officers should make sure that the email with the links or the PDF is forwarded to each individual delegate representing your congregation at the Annual Meeting.

The Delegate Credentials Cards were mailed by USPS on Thursday, March 28, 2013 to all congregations who made a financial contribution of record to the District in 2011-12.  You will receive the name number of Lay Delegate cards (blue) as you have authorized delegates based on your declared membership with the UUA this past February, plus several Ministers Delegate cards (yellow) for the use of ministers and Directors of Religious Education.  These cards must be filled out and signed by the presiding officer (usually President) or Minister of the congregation.  Delegates should display their card at Registration when they will receive a printed ballot (for use if a paper ballot is called for).  Unless a paper ballot is called for, voting will be done during the meeting by raising your Delegate Cards.  Only cards will be counted during voting.  Please contact Peggy Boccard ... if you have any questions.
